Yaskawa Solectria Solar PVI 3800TL, PVI 5200TL, PVI 6600TL, and PVI 7600TL are compact, transformerless, single-phase inverters with the highest peak and CEC efficiencies in the industry. These inverters come standard with an integrated DC disconnect, DC arc-fault detection and interrupt, 1 or 2 MPP tracker(s), and a user-interactive LCD and keypad. Their small and lightweight design make for quick and easy installation and maintenance. They have an innovative passive cooling design which eliminates the need for fans in the inverter. These inverters include an enhanced DSP control, comprehensive protection functions, and advanced thermal design enabling highest reliability and uptime. Yaskawa Solectria Solar Commercial TL String Inverters
The PVI 14TL, 20TL, 23TL, 28TL and 36TL transformerless inverters are designed with high reliability, efficiency and to be easily installed. These three-phase string inverters are small, lightweight, compact inverters utilized in commercial installations. They have dual MPPT tracking zones and a wide MPPT range. Options include integrated DC fused string combiner, DC arc-fault protection, web-based monitoring, shade cover and AC/DC disconnect covers. The PVI 23/28/36TL may be sold as a single product or as part of a decentralized MW/multi-MW solution.

The PVI 50-100KW and SGI 225-500PE inverters are slated for three-phase commercial installations. Each inverter is designed for easy installation, outdoor resistance with the highest reliabilities and efficiencies in the industry. Yaskawa Solectria Solar Utility-Scale Inverters
Utility-scale inverters and inverter solutions range from 500 kW to 2 MW. Each inverter or inverter solution is designed to provide customers with the reliability and efficiency desired for large-scale and utility-scale installations. The SGI XT and SGI XTM series’ are external transformer inverters and contain redundant power stages (contain all sensible electronics), therefore a solar array will function with a power stage down. The Megawatt Solar Stations (MSS) connect inverters to medium voltage switchgear to provide a direct connection to the grid.

Solectria Renewables, LLC was established in January 2005 with corporate offices (including manufacturing and design of its three-phase central inverters) at 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts. It was a spinoff from Solectria Corporation, an electric and hybrid vehicle company which was founded by Anita Worden and James Worden in 1989, to focus solely on the development and sales of grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) inverters.
Solectria has transitioned its name to Yaskawa Solectria Solar after being acquired by Yaskawa America, Inc. in 2014.
